Step 2-B

It's a sample of an old alley in Yazd. Yazd is an ancient city with a history over 3000 years and a unique architecture. It's located  in the center of Iran, surrounded by deserts. It's dry and hot in summer. Considering this climate architects used adobe to build house. The architecture contains a principle part windcatcher(Badgir). We can see the windcatchers  in the picture. They are used to keep the places cool. People still live in these old areas.

It's just a practice of sketch that I did for my sketch class, the technique is pastel.
